ðREVIEW Airlines Internship (GSA)
We interned for four terms and two with AirAsia at Hat Yai International Airport, which was an experience that really learned all aspects of airline work.
ð our duties are done at both the check-in counter and the gate area. From taking care of the passenger row, inquiring and checking the carry-on weight not to exceed 7 kg. According to the company policy, keep answering questions during the counter is not open and provide assistance to passengers who encounter various problems, the task requires very clear resolution and communication. Because each day there are many lights and the situation is not unique.
âïļ in front of the gate, we have organized a boarding zone, announced the Final Call, helped the elder ground in front of the engine door, and took care of the wheelchair passengers from pick up to the front of the plane, sometimes receiving a little tip to encourage you to feel more proud of the service, and actually went to help with the work in front of the engine door, so that you can see the process closely.
â° work as a shift system. Do 4 days, 2 days off. Help practice responsibility and work discipline. The airport is very strict in regulation and safety. Entry to each zone requires a pass and permission. Especially the Airside area and the front area. All steps must strictly meet the standards, allowing us to really learn professionalism. ðĻðŪðŧââïļ
Besides work experience, another special thing is that we see beautiful runway and plane views almost every day. Some days see the morning light with the plane taking off. Some days are a beautiful evening atmosphere âïļ. And also the opportunity to meet celebrities and celebrities who come to the airport service. It is a small color of internship that makes every day not boring.
ððļ although the apprenticeship is not paid, we have experience, have practiced English, have met friends at different universities, have new friends, and have known many staff who teach and advise throughout the period. It is a tiring, challenging, but very proud and rewarding time. âïļâĻð
