Let's remember a simple blood draw sequence. 👇
🔹 1️⃣ (Light Blue)
• Sodium citrate
• Blood clotting test
🩸 PT, aPTT.
🔹 2️⃣ Red (Red)
• No anticoagulant / clot activator
• General Chemical Examination, Serology, Immune
🔹 3️⃣ Green (Green)
• Heparin
• Chemistry in plasma
⚡ Electrolyte, BUN, Cr, LFT
🔹 4️⃣ Purple (Lavender / Purple)
• EDTA
• CBC, Hct, Hb check
🔹 5️⃣ Gray (Gray)
• Sodium fluoride + Potassium oxalate
• Sugar and Lactate 🍬
📌 Remember briefly:
💙 Blue → ❤️ Red → 💚 Green → 💜 Purple → 🩶 Gray
