セルフでマグネットネイルのチェック柄（マグチェック）をやるとき、私がいちばんつまずいたのが「マグが思った方向に光らない」「線が揃わない」問題でした。結論、うまく見えるかどうかは“マグの縦筋を同じ向きで揃えること”が9割。線の太さが多少ちがってもOKだし、ちょっとアンバランスでも意外と“味”になります。 ■マグネットの確認方法（まずここ） 使う前に、マグジェルを塗ったチップで磁石を近づけて「どの面がいちばん動くか」を確認します。磁石って意外と“強い面”と“弱い面”があって、当てる面が違うだけで光り方がブレがち。私は毎回、磁石の当てる面を固定するようにしてから失敗が減りました。 ■セルフのマグチェック手順（時短しつつ失敗しない） 1) ベースのあとに、必要ならビルダージェル（Brush on Builder Gel系）を薄く仕込んで強度UP。自爪が弱い人ほど体感あります。 2) マグジェルを1本ずつ塗る（まとめて塗るより、1本ずつ仮硬化が安定）。 3) 磁石を“同じ方向”で当てて縦筋を作る。チェックの縦ライン担当はここ。 4) 横ラインはお好みでOK。私は軽めにサッと入れるくらいが大人っぽく見えました。 5) 表面が凸凹しやすいので、最後はトップでフォルムをしっかり整える（ここで高見えが決まる）。 ■ネイル工房のボタニカルマグネットっぽい粒感が欲しい人へ 粒子が細かいマグは、縦筋がスッと出やすい反面、光が散りやすいことも。迷ったら「下地にノンワイプトップ（Protect non-wipe gel系）を挟む」と発色と光の輪郭が安定して、チェックが見えやすくなりました。 ■pa マグネットアレンジコートを使うなら 仕上げに“追いマグ”っぽく光を足したいときに便利でした。やりすぎるとチェックがぼやけるので、私はポイント使い（中央だけ・爪先だけ）にしてます。 ■ちょい足しアレンジ 「物足りないな」って日は、クモの糸みたいに伸びるアイシングジェルで、ほそほそ華奢ミラーを1〜2本だけ。やりすぎない方が“凝って見える”のに上品でした。 チェック柄は完璧に揃えなくても可愛いので、まずは1本だけマグチェック＋他の指はワンカラーで試すのがおすすめです。
