Pork satay
It began in Java, Indonesia, influenced by the "Kebab" of Arab merchants, before becoming widespread throughout Southeast Asia, including Thailand. 🌏 The origin and travel of kebab: In the 19th century, Indonesians received the idea of grilling skewered meat from the Arabs, but improved it using local spices and topped it with a bean sauce.
