During my trip, what stood out the most was the breathtaking scenery of the Canadian Rockies, with towering peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and abundant wildlife. Jasper National Park offers a peaceful retreat from busy city life, where hiking trails lead you through pine forests and along alpine rivers. One of my favorite moments was exploring Maligne Lake, famous for its turquoise waters and Spirit Island, a perfect spot for photography and reflection. Wildlife watching is another highlight—it's common to encounter elk, bears, and mountain goats if you're patient and respectful of their habitat. Beyond the scenery, Jasper has a friendly small-town feel with cozy cafes and local shops that add to the charm. For those who enjoy stargazing, the town is a designated Dark Sky Preserve, providing incredible views of the night sky free from light pollution.
