The Great Love Of God🌻
God loves us so much that he gave his one and only son to die on the cross for our sins, and through his sacrifice we are forgiven and by believing this we are made new and called his children. By doing this, Jesus shows us first hand what true {Forgiveness} should look like, although he was being mocked, spit on, beaten to death, pierced in his hands, side and feet, and stoned, he still remained on the cross, out of {Love}, and although all of that was happening, Jesus thought about us and he asked his father to { “forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” Luke 23:34}. Jesus also teaches us through his sacrifice, how to love people when they make it hard for us to love them, because in life not everyone will like you, some may persecute you because of your love for Jesus, and he tells us this in {2 Timothy 3:12}, but when that happens don’t retaliate, instead {Cleave- hold fast} to your lord and savior, and lean on him and not your own understanding {Proverbs 3:5} even though that can be hard to do at times, just trust in him that he knows what he’s doing. The reason the world does not know us is because they didn’t even take the time to know him first, they said he was a blasphemer, throw stones at him, and didn’t believe that he was the Christ. So don’t be upset when people persecute you, call you names, spread false information about you, because remember if it happened to the most righteous man that ever walked this earth then it will also happen to you!

Reflecting on the great love of God has deeply impacted my life, especially the idea that Jesus endured immense suffering not just for himself but for us, as a demonstration of ultimate forgiveness and love. One thing I've learned on this journey of faith is how challenging it can be to forgive those who hurt or oppose us. Yet, the example of Jesus on the cross, asking for forgiveness for those who crucified Him, inspires me to strive for the same kind of unconditional love and forgiveness in my daily interactions. I've faced situations where standing firm in my beliefs sometimes leads to misunderstanding or isolation, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:12. It’s encouraging to remember that such trials are part of the Christian walk and to keep holding fast to faith, leaning on God rather than my own understanding as Proverbs 3:5 reminds us. Trusting that God is in control, even when the world seems against us, has been a source of peace. Moreover, the reminder that the world’s rejection often comes from not knowing God first resonates strongly. This helps me not take personal offenses as bitter but as opportunities to deepen my own faith and exhibit Christ’s love. The hashtags #lordforgivethem and #neverbetobusyforgod really capture essential spiritual attitudes: grace and prioritizing our relationship with God above all. In my experience, the true essence of God’s love is forgiving others as He forgives us, and living a life that reflects this love even when it’s difficult. This journey of faith requires patience and trust, yet it brings a transformation that renews how we see ourselves and others. I pray this reflection encourages others to embrace God’s love and forgiveness, no matter the obstacles they face.
