Okay, Lemon8 fam, I have to share my latest Aldi obsession! You know how much I love a good grocery store find, and this one takes the cake – or should I say, the cookie! I was just browsing the aisles at my local Aldi, not expecting much beyond my usual staples, when BAM! There it was: a bright yellow Nabisco Oreo package for Limited Edition Blueberry Pie flavored cookies. My jaw practically hit the floor! Seriously, who knew Aldi would bring us such a gem? The packaging proudly declared 'Back by Popular Demand!', which immediately made me think, 'How did I miss these the first time?!' As a huge fan of anything blueberry and, let's be honest, all things Oreo, I snatched them up faster than you can say 'limited edition.' Getting them home, I couldn't wait to crack open that iconic bright yellow package. The cookies themselves looked exactly as promised: a beautiful graham flavored cookie sandwiching a generous layer of vibrant blueberry creme. The picture on the box, showing a delicious slice of pie, definitely set high expectations. Now for the most important part: the taste test! And let me tell you, these do not disappoint. The graham cracker flavor of the cookie is subtle but perfectly complements the sweet and tangy blueberry filling. It really does taste like a deconstructed blueberry pie! The creme is smooth and rich, and the blueberry flavor feels authentic, not artificial. I tried them plain, dunked in milk (a classic!), and even crumbled some over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Each way was pure bliss. It's always fascinating to see how Aldi, known for its incredible private-label brands like Benton's, also stocks popular items like Nabisco Oreos. For those of you who constantly debate 'oreo vs aldi' brand cookies, this is a fun twist. While Aldi’s Benton’s sandwich cookies are a fantastic budget-friendly option and often surprisingly close in taste to the original, there's just something about a unique Limited Edition flavor from Nabisco that hits differently. Benton's might give you that classic chocolate and cream fix, but for adventurous flavors like these Blueberry Pie Oreos, you're often looking at the branded versions.
