🌷 My Faith Journey: Then vs. Now ✝️

Reflecting on my own faith journey, I’ve come to realize that transformation is rarely instant. Much like the writer’s personal experience, I too once wrestled with worry, constantly seeking validation from others rather than finding confidence in my identity through Christ. Over time, I learned that faith is not about perfection, but a process of continual growth and surrender. One pivotal shift for me was understanding that God’s plan is greater than my own. Initially, I was resistant, trying to control every outcome, which only led to frustration. But gradually, surrendering that control opened me up to peace and trust that God is working all things for good. The scripture Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” — became a comforting reminder that growth is ongoing and God’s grace covers every step. Instead of demanding immediate perfection, I allowed myself to grow deeper in grace and understanding, appreciating that each day offers a new opportunity to trust more and seek God’s guidance. This journey has taught me the value of patience and self-compassion, combined with a steadfast hope founded in Jesus.
