🔥💗 Are You Living for Jesus… or Just Around Him? 💗🔥

This isn’t a post to judge anyone.

It’s a reminder for all of us—including me—to examine our hearts. 🤍🕊️

📖 “So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” — Revelation 3:16

Being a lukewarm Christian isn’t about making mistakes.

It’s about becoming comfortable with a faith that never changes us.

🌸 Do you spend time with God, or only think about Him on Sundays?

🙏 Is prayer your first response or your last resort?

📖 Is His Word shaping your life, or is the world?

Jesus isn’t asking for perfection.

He’s asking for your whole heart. ❤️

✨ Today is a beautiful day to stop going through the motions and start pursuing a real relationship with Him.

He’s not calling you to be religious.

Living for Jesus is more than just routine religious activity—it's about cultivating a passionate, transformative relationship with Him every day. Many believers find themselves caught in the trap of lukewarm faith, where they know about Jesus but don’t fully engage with Him in their daily lives. This condition, highlighted in Revelation 3:15-16, warns against being neither fully committed nor fully disengaged. From my personal experience, the shift from going through the motions to truly living for Jesus happened when I started prioritizing time with God beyond Sunday services. Making prayer my first response in moments of joy and challenge transformed how I relied on Him, rather than turning to prayer only as a last resort. It’s about seeking God’s guidance and letting His Word influence choices and attitudes consistently, rather than letting the world shape our outlook. The danger of lukewarm faith is it breeds comfort with status quo rather than growth—spiritually and personally. It’s easy to love the blessings of faith but shy away from the obedience it requires. However, what Jesus desires is our whole heart, not a divided or half-given commitment. This wholeheartedness is freeing, as it draws us nearer to God’s heart and strengthens our witness in the world. If you find yourself drifting, consider what parts of your life are only going through motions versus those genuinely dedicated to Jesus. Reignite your faith by returning to foundational spiritual practices—daily scripture reading, heartfelt prayer, and active obedience. Each step brings you closer to living a life on fire for God, no longer lukewarm but fully alive in His purpose and love.
