Our Italy Airbnb that I would stay at over & over
This Airbnb in Positano is probably the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and air conditioned. The views were amazing and the balcony was beyond perfect! I would stay here over and over again.
It was a bit of a walk up the hill in the summer heat but it was worth every step for the stunning view. Overall this property was in a great location in relevance to restaurants + activities to do! This Airbnb is called “Solaris Domus” and is located in Positano, Italy!
Staying at Solaris Domus in Positano wasn't just a trip; it was an experience that felt like living in a postcard. Since you're looking into this gem, let me tell you a bit more about what made it so unforgettable, beyond just the stunning views. First off, those rooms! The bright bedroom was incredibly inviting, and having French doors that open directly onto a private balcony truly made a difference. Imagine waking up to the first rays of sun hitting the colorful town, with the scent of salty air mixed with blooming flowers. It’s pure magic. The spacious bedroom ensures you have plenty of room to unwind after a day of exploring, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver during the warmer months, trust me! Now, let’s talk about those iconic Positano colorful houses and the breathtaking sunset view. From the balcony at Solaris Domus, you get an unparalleled panorama. We loved sitting out on the long, sunlit terrace, surrounded by lush potted plants, watching the light change throughout the day. As the sun begins to dip, the buildings, cascading down to the sea, turn into a vibrant palette of oranges, pinks, and purples. It’s truly a stunning sunset view that you'll want to capture from every angle. I recommend having a glass of local Limoncello or wine ready for that golden hour – it just elevates the whole experience. While the walk up the hill to Solaris Domus can be a bit of a workout, especially in summer, it’s genuinely worth it. That elevation is precisely what gives you those incredible, unobstructed views of the mountain town that many lower properties simply can't offer. Plus, it feels like you're earning your gelato! Don't worry, Positano has a great public bus system, and local taxis or porters are available if you need a hand with luggage. Getting your bearings on the zig-zagging paths is part of the adventure. In terms of location for restaurants and activities, Solaris Domus strikes a fantastic balance. You’re close enough to easily walk (downhill!) to many fantastic eateries and shops, but far enough from the main bustling beaches to enjoy some peace and quiet. We found some amazing hidden trattorias just a short stroll away. Exploring the narrow streets, discovering artisan boutiques, or heading down to Marina Grande for a boat trip to Capri or the Grotta dello Smeraldo are all within easy reach. If you're still debating an Airbnb in Positano, especially one with a view, Solaris Domus should be at the top of your list. It provides that perfect blend of comfort, authentic Italian charm, and those once-in-a-lifetime views of the colorful town and its glorious sunsets. Make sure to book well in advance, as places like this fill up quickly!
