During my recent stay at Occidental at Xcaret, I truly appreciated how this resort combines natural beauty with cultural richness. Nestled within the lush Riviera Maya jungle, it felt like discovering a secret hideaway surrounded by playful monkeys and intriguing Mayan ruins right on the property. Having quick access to Xcaret Park made excursions super convenient, especially for families seeking a mix of adventure and relaxation. The private cove beach is one of my favorite spots — much quieter than the usual crowded beaches in Cancun, offering a peaceful place to unwind and swim. Multiple pools throughout the resort provide great options whether you want to swim laps or just lounge poolside with a cocktail. The vibe is casual comfortably, rather than ultra-luxurious, which suits travelers looking for affordable yet memorable experiences. What stood out to me was the friendly atmosphere and the variety of kid-friendly amenities, making it perfect for families. At the same time, couples can enjoy romantic walks in the jungle surroundings or sunset views at the beach. If you’re planning a trip to Riviera Maya and want something off the beaten path but still convenient for popular attractions, Occidental at Xcaret is worth considering. In summary, the resort offers excellent value by combining location, nature, and culture—attributes often overlooked in favor of flashier resorts. My first time at a capsule hotel 🌸

This is the ninehours capsule hotel in Tokyo and it was a nice experience. When I checked in, I went straight to the lockers to put away my stuff ( which was a backpack and a carry on) the lockers are small so if you have a lot of luggage I wouldn't recommend taking all of them to the hotel.
