Why I don’t work outside

This might be controversial but I really just can’t get working outside to work for me. I really am just not as productive.

I think a lot of it is that there are not a lot of working positions that are not at a table where I feel comfortable but also am not too relaxed to the point that I’m not working. Also the sun and being able to see my computer screen is also just something that causes me not to be super productive.

Also I just find being outside a lot more distracting all together. That’s why I think it’s great for study breaks though!!

... Read moreWhile many enjoy the novelty of working outside, I find it challenging due to various factors. The lack of comfortable, productive seating options can make focused work difficult. Moreover, bright sunlight can create visibility problems for screens, leading to frustration and decreased efficiency. Interestingly, fresh air can enhance creativity and focus, making short outdoor breaks ideal for rejuvenation. A brief stroll in nature can clear your mind, fostering a better working environment once you return indoors. Implementing regular intervals of fresh air ensures you remain productive without sacrificing the benefits of nature. Ultimately, it's essential to find a work routine that works best for you, incorporating outdoor breaks while recognizing the potential challenges of working outside. This balance can lead to a more fulfilling and productive work experience.
