What does your off day look like?
A 'day off' that involves grocery runs, laundry, and errands is not a day off. It's a uniform change for your second job.
We glorify the "productive day off" where you finally catch up on life admin. The truth is, that's not rest—it's just moving your labor from a paid job to an unpaid one. I now treat my personal errands like a job and refuse to schedule a single chore on my actual rest days.
If I'm not in sweatpants reading, it wasn't a day off. I need a union for personal time.
What is the one chore you refuse to do on your official day off? (Mine is cleaning the kitchen floor.)

This is relatable in a way that feels uncomfortably honest.
