My boys, Chewy and Juju!

Oh my goodness, you've just got to meet my sweet boys, Juju and Chewy! They're my two adorable Shorkies, and honestly, they've completely stolen my heart. When people ask, "What kind of dog is Juju?" I love telling them all about this wonderful breed. Shorkies are a mix of Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier, and they truly get the best traits from both! Juju, my black dog who you often see sporting his cute tan leopard print outfit on his matching blanket, is such a playful little character. His brother, Chewy, is the light brown one, and he looks absolutely precious in his pink leopard print top, usually snuggled up in his grey bed. They're both small dogs, but their personalities are huge! Getting to see them look right at the camera is always a treat because they're just so photogenic. For anyone who's curious about having a 'Juju dog' or any Shorkie for that matter, let me tell you, they make the most wonderful companions. They're known for being incredibly affectionate, loyal, and full of energy. Don't let their small size fool you; they love to play! Daily walks and playtime are a must to keep them happy and healthy. Watching Juju chase after his favorite toy or Chewy doing zoomies around the house is pure joy. One thing I've learned about Shorkies is that their coats are gorgeous but do require some regular attention. Both Juju and Chewy have soft, silky hair that needs daily brushing to prevent mats, and regular grooming appointments are a must to keep them looking their best. It's a small price to pay for all the cuddles and happiness they bring. Training them has been a fun journey too; they're quite intelligent and pick up new tricks quickly, especially when treats are involved! Having Juju and Chewy in my life has added so much warmth and laughter. They’re not just pets; they're family. Their unique personalities shine through every day – from Juju's curious nature to Chewy's sweet disposition.
