Saving Money On Gift Cards! 💰

Did you know there was a way to save money on GIFT CARDS?!

Be sure to Check Amazon from time to time for discounted gift cards - often times they do it near the holidays or Prime Days.

Also, check CVS & other stores for deals where you’ll get store rewards back for buying gift cards.

This is one of my favorite hacks to save extra money! Why not save money on what you’re going to be spending anyways?! 😁

... Read moreYou're looking to save on gift cards, specifically for Dollar General? That's a smart move! While the original post touched on getting discounts from Amazon and earning rewards at CVS, I've got even more insights on how these strategies, and a few others, can specifically help you save on Dollar General gift cards. First, let's talk about finding Dollar General gift cards at a discount. Just as I’ve seen awesome deals for Applebee's, Panera, and many other brands on Amazon, you’ll often find similar offers for Dollar General. Keep a close eye on Amazon leading up to major holidays, Prime Days, and even around Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Retailers frequently discount these popular gift cards to drive sales, and getting 10-15% off a Dollar General gift card means instant savings on your everyday essentials before you even step foot in the store. I've personally snagged some fantastic deals this way, making my household budget stretch further. Beyond Amazon, remember the strategy of earning store rewards. While the example showed CVS ExtraBucks for certain gift cards, many grocery chains and drugstores (like Kroger, Safeway, or Rite Aid) run promotions where you earn bonus points, cashback, or even fuel perks when you purchase third-party gift cards. These promotions aren't always explicitly advertised for Dollar General, but if you're buying a variety of gift cards for different needs, including a Dollar General one when a deal pops up can add up to significant savings. Always check their weekly ads or loyalty program details before you shop. Another avenue I've explored is reputable gift card exchange sites. Sometimes people have unwanted gift cards, and they sell them at a slight discount. While you need to be careful and use trusted platforms, it’s a legitimate way to find Dollar General gift cards below face value. It's like finding a hidden gem that puts money back in your pocket. Once you have a discounted Dollar General gift card, the savings don't stop there! Dollar General is known for its incredible in-store deals, digital coupons through their app, and frequent clearance items. Stacking your discounted gift card with these existing sales means you're getting a double dip on savings. For example, if you bought a $50 Dollar General gift card for $40, and then used it to buy groceries that were already on sale or combined with a digital coupon, your overall savings percentage would be even higher. It’s my favorite way to maximize value on things I need anyway, from cleaning supplies to pantry staples. It’s all about being strategic. By leveraging online discounts, store reward programs, and even gift card exchanges, you can consistently save money on Dollar General gift cards. This simple hack truly boosts your budget, allowing you to get more for less on your routine purchases. Happy saving!
