In my personal journey within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, one of the most impactful realizations has been the transformative power of dedicating time daily to come closer to Christ. Elder Ronald M. Barcellos’s message, emphasizing that "all God needs to accomplish His purposes is for each of us to turn our hearts fully to Him," deeply resonates with me. This turning of the heart is not just a momentary decision but a continual process. Each day, I find that small, consistent efforts in prayer, scripture study, and meaningful service create subtle but powerful changes in my attitudes and actions. It reminds me that spiritual growth is a journey rather than a destination. Moreover, the concept that the Lord looks at the heart encourages me to focus inwardly, examining and aligning my intentions rather than simply my outward behaviors. This perspective is especially uplifting during challenging times when external circumstances seem unfavourable. Knowing that my sincere efforts and genuine desires are seen and valued by God motivates me to keep striving toward greater love and humility.
