In my personal experience, embracing the gospel culture as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints involves a deep commitment to living the covenants we make. Covenants are sacred promises that guide our daily actions and decisions, helping us grow spiritually and stay connected with Jesus Christ. Following the Prophet is central to this journey. The Prophet acts as a modern-day guide, interpreting revelation for our time. When I reflect on following prophets, seers, and revelators, I see it as following a path illuminated by divine guidance. Their teachings help clarify how to live Christlike lives amid today’s challenges. Adopting this lifestyle has brought me a greater sense of peace and purpose. By aligning my actions with gospel principles and counsels from modern prophets, I have felt strengthened in faith and better equipped to face personal trials. This approach also fosters a community rooted in purpose and unity. The words shared by Elder Michael John U. Teh emphasize that when we follow prophetic guidance, we are essentially following Jesus Christ. This connection inspires me to stay committed to my covenants and to seek continual personal growth. It’s not always easy, but the blessings are profound.
