The Kind of Joy The World Can’t Take Away 🤍
So many of us spend our lives searching for joy.
We look for it in accomplishments.
In relationships.
In having everything finally work out the way we hoped.
And while those things can bring happiness, they often come and go with circumstances.
But Jesus speaks about something deeper:
“That my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.”
Not temporary happiness.
Not a fleeting feeling.
A lasting joy that remains.
The kind of joy that can exist even in difficult seasons.
The kind that stays when life feels uncertain.
The kind that reminds you that God is still good, even when the path ahead is unclear.
This doesn’t mean Christians never struggle.
We still experience grief.
We still face disappointment.
We still have seasons where our hearts feel heavy.
But beneath all of that, there can still be a quiet confidence that God is with us.
A peace that steadies us.
A hope that carries us.
A joy rooted not in our circumstances, but in His presence.

Maybe you’re waiting on answers.
Maybe you’re carrying burdens no one else knows about.
Even there, God is near.
And the joy He offers isn’t something you have to earn or manufacture.
It’s something He lovingly gives to those who remain close to Him.
