I did it ! I lost 10kg in a year !

It’s been awhile since I last posted here, life has been full of ups and down. But the only thing down now is my weight and fat percentage HAHAHA

I think it really helped that I wasn’t focused so much on the speed that I was losing weight, more on the fact that I could sustain my gymming sessions and eating habits, and let rest take care of itself!

It was a great journey tbh , and now that my AF gym membership is going to expire, on to the new phase of my own self made fitness program!

if y’all want any tips or what just ask away, I’ll share what I know based on my own experiences 😉

... Read moreLosing 10kg in a year is definitely achievable if you focus on sustainable habits rather than quick results. From my experience, consistency in both exercise and diet is key. Instead of obsessing over rapid weight loss, I prioritized maintaining regular gym sessions and balanced nutrition, which made the changes stick long-term. An eye-opening part of my journey was tracking body composition, not just the scale. I wasn’t only interested in weight but aimed to lose fat while preserving muscle and keeping my body well-hydrated. Over the 12 months, I lost nearly 9kg of pure fat while preserving almost all of my skeletal muscle mass. This approach helped me avoid feeling weak or tired, which often happens with extreme dieting. Another surprising benefit was the improvement in my biological age and overall body wellness. My bio age dropped by 3 years, showing that consistent healthy living impacts more than just appearance—it improves internal health markers too. If you’re wondering about tips, remember that small consistent actions—like sticking to your workouts and proper eating habits—force the bigger results to follow. Rest and recovery are just as important as exercise. Also, don't rush. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, and sustainable changes outperform any quick fix. If you’re starting your own journey, consider monitoring your body composition if possible, stay patient, and adjust as you learn what works best for your body. Feel free to ask about my experiences; I’m happy to share the lessons I’ve gathered along the way!
