God is NO Slacker ‼️💯
Some days it’s hard to hold on to faith.
Watching the ones I love walk in disbelief is painful.
It’s heavy. It wears me down.
Sometimes, I feel numb… tired.
Like the weight is polluting the very faith I’m trying to protect.
But one thing I know for sure:
God is no slacker.
Even when I’m weak, He’s still faithful. And that’s what keeps me going. 🙏🏽
I remember those days when the weight of disbelief felt so heavy, polluting the very faith I was trying to protect. It's natural to ask, 'Why is God allowing this?' Or, 'Why do difficult times seem to be a constant companion?' Sometimes, I feel numb, tired, and completely worn down. Watching the ones I love walk in disbelief is truly painful, and it makes holding on to faith incredibly hard. Through my own journey, and yes, sometimes even as a result of those painful experiences, I've come to understand a few things that have truly helped me hold onto faith. It’s not about God punishing us, but often about His refining love. Just like gold is purified by fire, sometimes our faith needs to go through its own intense heat to emerge stronger, more resilient. These challenges, as difficult as they are, can serve as a crucible for our spiritual growth, deepening our reliance on Him. I've realized that sometimes, God allows us to go through difficult times not because He's a slacker – as the original post so powerfully states – but because He has a deeper purpose. These trials can actually draw us closer to Him, forcing us to lean on His strength when our own is completely gone. It’s in those moments when I felt most weak that His faithfulness shone brightest, carrying me through when I thought I couldn't take another step. It’s a profound revelation to experience His presence even when everything around you feels like it's crumbling. Think about it: didn't I once feel like the weight was polluting my faith? But looking back, those very struggles became the soil in which my deepest trust in God grew. It’s a paradox, isn’t it? The pain we endure can actually be a pathway to a more profound relationship with Him. When I was tired and watching loved ones struggle, it sharpened my focus on God's unwavering presence. He truly is still faithful, even when we don't understand the 'why' or the 'how' behind the trials. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed, remember that even in the midst of hardship, God is working. He’s not distant; He's right there, holding you. These difficult seasons can be opportunities for growth, for a deeper reliance on Him, and for Him to demonstrate His incredible power in our weakness. It's about trusting His plan, even when the path ahead is unclear. That's what truly keeps me going, knowing that even when I'm weak, He is strong, and He is faithful.
