... Read moreGrief is often misunderstood as an endless state of pain that one must simply endure to honor love lost. However, my personal experience has taught me that this mindset can trap us in a cycle where pain is mistaken for love itself. On May 15, 2026, I realized that holding onto grief as a permanent companion was limiting my capacity for joy and happiness. Instead of learning to live with grief, I needed to learn how to release it. In my healing journey, I began to distinguish between the aching remnants of love and the persistent pain that binds us. This shift didn’t happen overnight; it was a gradual process of self-awareness and compassion. By embracing a mindset of self-love and emotional resilience, I was able to acknowledge my grief without letting it define my existence. A crucial step in this process is recognizing that feeling no pain does not mean a lack of love. It means healing is underway. The goal isn’t to forget or diminish the significance of what was lost, but to transform that loss into a source of strength and hope. I found that setting intentions toward joy and happiness — not just managing pain — opened new possibilities for living fully after loss. For anyone navigating the #griefjourney or seeking #healing after significant loss, I encourage exploring practices that nurture self-love and new emotional perspectives. This might include journaling feelings honestly, connecting with supportive communities, or seeking guidance from mental health professionals. Integrating these approaches can empower you to move from surviving grief to truly thriving in life after loss.

Grief is a journey
Yes. Grief is a very hard task. It changes from minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day. It gets easier for a time and then suddenly smacks you upside your head and inside your heart. There is no one simple or single way to grieve. Grief has a life and mind of its own. It comes and goes at wil
