When I tell you I Waited years for this…I literally waited. I loved every moment of each school but went through ups and down so many times that it drained me a lot. Some days I asked myself if it was worth the education for a better future.
Some people don’t tell you of the struggles of high school and how much it could mentally change or scar you, for me I thought high school would be a piece of cake being a straight A student since little but freshman year made me think otherwise. I recently moved during freshman year, I didn’t knew anyone and lost all my friends back home. That’s when I realized I was by myself and depended on me only, I tried to do my best and get my grades decent. But I learned and grew by Sophomore and junior year.
That’s when I realized how much I drained myself to make friends and make good grades to the point I didn’t take care of myself, went days without eating, didn’t do anything productive at all. By Senior year I changed life perspective, I didn’t push myself to look for friends and kept my circle small, I begin to be more productive by finding a job and ways to hang out with my friends. And now I graduated with good grades, Got scholarships for being excellence student in law enforcement. I will forever be grateful for the teachers that helped me all the way through my high school years, I will miss them so much.
