College dorm must haves! ✨

Hey y’all 👋🏾

Here are some items I had in my room I’d recommend to an incoming freshman!

1. pictures from home- to add a bit of a homely touch to your room!

2. oversized blanket- this way if you have an elevated bed you can hide the under bed storage!

3. tv- i don’t know what i would’ve done if i didn’t bring it, watching shows & movies gets me through the day and long weekends!

4. desk lamp- the perfect light source when doing hw late at night or just an alternative one when you don’t want the room lights! i had one that was able to dim on a spectrum!

5. mini microwave & fridge- in my years on campus i provided this for myself and my roommate (and a coffee maker)! it’s honestly a must!

6. storage bins- you’re going to want to bring multiple sizes and options of storage bins because this is how you’re going to afford bringing a lot of things with you!

With thoughtful preparation, your dorm can become a personalized haven tailored to your lifestyle and academic needs.
