Because choosing the right Financial Advisor is SUPER important, and I’ve met more crappy ones than good ones.
So here are 8 things (4 green flags ✅ & 4 red flags 🚩) to look out for when you’re shortlisting your FA.

If you feel pressured or rushed, that's a warning sign. A professional FA respects your pace and encourages questions, giving you room to make informed decisions. I've found that advisors who proactively provide educational resources and help you understand investment basics show genuine care, which is invaluable for long-term partnership. Lastly, don’t hesitate to ask for references or testimonials from other clients. Real-world feedback can reveal how dependable and effective an advisor truly is. Remember, the right FA is an ally in your financial journey, not just a salesperson. Take your time, seek clarity, and prioritize your comfort and confidence with the person managing your money.
