What do you keep in your pockets? 🥲should we do what I keep in my purse next?👀 #everydaycarry #asmrstory #adhdinwomen
Everyone has their own unique set of items they like to keep close throughout the day, and for me, my jacket pockets are a small but vital storage space. I tend to carry upwards of 13 different items, which might sound like a lot, but each has its own purpose, especially considering my struggle with anxiety. One thing I never leave without is my earbuds—they offer a refuge through music or ASMR content, helping to calm racing thoughts and sensory overload. Alongside that, I keep my usual lip balm to deal with chapped lips, especially when the weather gets dry, and hand sanitizer to maintain hygiene. Medication is another crucial item I carry, both for managing anxiety and any other health needs. Knowing it's within reach provides peace of mind, which is invaluable throughout the day. Also, cards, including my Target card, are stored in a small cloth wallet to keep them safe yet accessible. Of course, my car keys and smartphone are always with me. The phone acts as both my communication device and digital assistant, reminding me of appointments, playing calming sounds, or simply distracting me when needed. For those who find themselves managing anxiety or busy schedules, keeping a dedicated everyday carry like this helps create a routine and a sense of control. It’s amazing how having just the right items within reach can ease the stress of daily life. If you’re curious about what others carry around or looking to build your own everyday carry, starting with a list of items that address your needs—whether practical, emotional, or both—can be a great step. From there, it’s all about personalizing and optimizing what you keep on you every day.
