Gymshark66: not just for fun. for a better you.

Most of the 4th week of Gymshark66 I have been sick.

BUT, thanks to GS66, I still got all my habits done every single day!

Here’s how:

-Set a daily minimum for your habit.

—Mine was at LEAST wash your face and put on lotion, eat 4 fruits/veggies daily, and get at least 5,000 steps.

-Start and end your day with contributing to those minimums every single day.

—This helps you not forget about them until the last minute and, frankly, keeps you from giving yourself an out. I finish what I start.

-Know that I am living proof that you will feel better both during and after your sickness if you stick to your healthy habits.

—When I didn’t feel like moving, I did it anyway. When nothing sounded good to eat, I ate some fruit. When I did not want to get in the shower or stand and wash my face, I reminded myself of my why.

Gymshark66 gives you accountability, even when you don’t have the energy to hold yourself accountable.

And now that I feel better, I don’t feel like I’m starting over or feel guilty for missing workouts because I never stopped working on myself.

But it feels SO good to be back!

Moreover, getting back into the gym after recovering from sickness can be intimidating, but having maintained these healthy habits softened the transition. It prevented that dreaded feeling of starting over or guilt over missed workouts. Instead, I embraced progress and resilience, focusing on what I could do rather than what I missed. For anyone struggling to stay motivated through illness or setbacks, I highly recommend adopting manageable daily habits and seeking challenges or communities like Gymshark66 that foster accountability. It’s not just about fitness; it’s about building lifelong resilience and a better, healthier you.
