Engaging in scripture writing each day has been a transformative way for me to center my thoughts and intentions on God. The July 2026 theme 'Fired Up' encourages believers to rekindle their passion and enthusiasm for spiritual growth and holy living. I found that starting my mornings with prayer and writing selected verses, such as 2 Timothy 1:6 and Romans 12:11, set a powerful tone for the day, helping me maintain focus amid daily distractions. One tip that helped me was using the study methods suggested by She Seeks Jesus on Instagram, especially the practice of reading, meditating, and journaling the scriptures. This not only deepened my understanding of the verses but also impressed the truths in my heart. For example, reflecting on Revelation 3:15-16 helped me recognize areas of lukewarmness that I needed to repent from. Writing prayers alongside the verses, like asking for spiritual fervor or perseverance, created a personal dialogue with God that felt deeply encouraging. Another powerful aspect was connecting with others by tagging friends and participating in the #julyscripturewriting community. Sharing our reflections and prayers created a sense of accountability and fellowship. The daily prompts also included prayers for strength, passion, and dedication—prayers that truly spoke to my daily walk. If you’re looking for a way to enrich your spiritual discipline, I highly recommend dedicating time each day this July to scripture writing based on these prompts. It’s not just about writing but about letting God’s Word shape your heart, ignite your zeal, and guide your actions.
