Day 1 in OKA

Reached airport bright and early to kick start our (tiring) day to drive up north! it's a 2 hour drive for the whole journey but we broke it into parts

📍Naha airport >📍AEON mall Rycom > 📍Lunch @ Trip Cafe >📍Check-in at Kunigami

picked up the car and we went to AEON mall Rycom to get bb supplies first - bought milk powder (Japan has cubed milk powder - so easy to 泡) and diapers. Explored the mall a bit - Pokemon Centre for YL where he bought plushies for Juvan

Stopped by Trip Cafe on the way - recommend the Tiramisu fluffy pancakes 😋😋 yummy

continued driving up to the north to our accoms in Kunigami! challenging for YL as we didnt really sleep on the flight 😭😭 lucky we made it! had an early dinner and caught the sunset after and night night 🤭🤭

14 Days in (North) Kyushu - Part 2
This trip took place in the first week of December. It was pretty cold in Aso at this time - would highly recommend bringing warmer clothes! (Side note: Day 10 was pretty empty because we were feeling under the weather. Maybe we’ll try to visit Kumamoto again in future!)

The ONLY guide u need for stamps at Bugis & Bras Basah!! 📍🇸🇬
1. BUGIS HAJI LANE - 📍LOKA MADE The prettiest stamps!! They have stamp stations at both ends of the store, make sure to cop a $1 postcard (or stamp in your book) for the layered stamp too. Don’t forget to get the monthly stamp at the counter also! Sometimes they put the old seasonal stamps there

Awaji Island 🧅
For all the ink that has been spilled on Japan itineraries, Awaji Island rarely gets a mention. Tucked between Osaka and Shikoku, it’s best known to locals as the onion capital of Japan, which, admittedly, is not the most glamorous pitch for a travel destination 😅. I was skeptical too. But

Flying with bb Juvan at 5 months
Just came back from our trip to OKA! We took a red eye there and day time flight back - we did top up $$ to get the first row seats so that there was more space and leg room and it really helped us to take our items more easily and slow bounce bb to sleep during the flight - will recommend!! Ra

Day 4 Furano-Biei - 1 Oct
This was our first time driving overseas. We weren’t sure how tired we would be so we kept the driving itinerary shorter. I think we’ll plan for longer drives for upcoming trips! 🏨 La Vista Furano Hills 💲$74 per pax per night (as of 2024) 💭 They offered free overnight parking when we wer

what exactly is the “Singaporean dream” for a middle-income couple in their mid-20s who barely have a combined decade of working? for context, we’ve been dating since early 2022. In 2023, we came up with a 5 year plan to kickstart our future (sooo propose by 2028). we’ve also been trying for var

WHAT I DID IN OKINAWA 🏖️ ☀️
Now that direct flights are back, a different side of Japan might be fun to explore! Okinawa’s weather is typically on the warmer side and the island lives and breathes its own character. The US Air Force had bases in Okinawa in the past and still has roots in the land, which explains why the i
