Unmotivated.
Can’t seem to want to get out of bed…..#lazyMode
Holiday Hangover is a real thing. It lands the high but makes way for the new season…..Renewal!
I’ve definitely experienced those sluggish mornings when motivation feels miles away, especially after the holiday season. It’s common to feel drained after the festivities—this "holiday hangover" can make it hard to jumpstart daily routines. One thing that helped me was setting small, achievable goals each day. Even simple tasks like making the bed or preparing a healthy breakfast gave me a sense of accomplishment that motivated me to keep going. Another helpful strategy was to embrace the idea of renewal that comes with new seasons. Instead of seeing the slow mornings as a setback, I reframed them as an opportunity to reset and prioritize self-care. Incorporating light exercise, like a morning walk or stretching, boosted my mood and energy levels significantly. Also, limiting screen time and focusing on mindfulness techniques such as meditation helped me clear my mind and reduce feelings of lethargy. Creating a gentle morning routine tailored to what feels nourishing rather than overwhelming was key. Remember, it's okay to have days of low motivation; what matters is starting again with intention. When you combine small daily wins with a mindset geared toward renewal, getting out of bed—and moving forward—becomes much easier and more rewarding.
