🧘🏽‍♀️How Pilates Changed my body 🍑

When I first started my fitness journey, I was looking for a sustainable and effective way to lose weight, tone my body, and build strength without feeling overwhelmed. That’s when I discovered Pilates on the Ladder Workout app—and it has completely transformed not only my body but also my mindset toward fitness.

My Pilates Workout Split

I follow a structured Pilates split that keeps my workouts balanced, targeting different muscle groups throughout the week:

• Monday: Full body

• Tuesday: Legs

• Wednesday: Upper body

• Thursday: Full body

• Friday: Core and back

• Saturday: Legs

• Sunday: Core and cardio

This routine keeps me engaged, prevents burnout, and allows me to challenge different parts of my body consistently.

How This Routine Changed My Body

1. Toned and Leaner Muscles

Pilates is known for its ability to create long, lean muscles without bulk. After a few weeks of following this split, I started noticing more definition in my arms, legs, and core. My muscles felt stronger, but they also looked more sculpted.

2. Improved Core Strength and Posture

The core-focused days (Friday and Sunday) have been game-changers. My abs feel stronger than ever, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my posture. I no longer slouch as much, and I feel more aligned throughout the day.

3. Increased Flexibility and Mobility

Before Pilates, I struggled with tight hamstrings and hip flexors. Now, with consistent leg and full-body workouts, my flexibility has dramatically improved. I can move more freely, and everyday activities feel easier.

4. Fat Loss Without High-Impact Workouts

Since my main goal is weight loss, I was initially skeptical about whether Pilates alone could help me shed fat. However, pairing low-impact, high-intensity Pilates with core and cardio days has kept me in a steady fat-burning zone. My body feels tighter, and I’ve noticed a difference in how my clothes fit.
