I had so much fun reading this. Haitian folklore with pirates and magic and merfolk, I absolutely loved it. It’s very fast paced which I enjoyed a lot and it wasn’t confusing. I was able to keep up with all the characters and POVs. Typically stories with this many POVs is difficult for me to follow

I always enjoy how action packed S.A Cosby’s books are no matter the plot/storylines.
