SHE’S JUST A BABY! 🐺😭🥳 #siberianderpskies #husky #siberianhusky #dogsoftiktok #huskiesoftiktok
It’s hard to believe my two amazing Siberian Huskies are getting older, but honestly, they’re still just big puppies in my eyes! Soon, we’ll be celebrating Leia’s 8th birthday on February 11th, and then Archer’s 7th birthday on February 14th. Every year feels like a milestone, and I love making their birthdays special, even if it’s just with an extra-long walk, a new squeaky toy, or their favorite homemade dog-friendly cake. These celebrations are a sweet reminder of all the joy and laughter they bring into my life every single day. One of the funniest things about having Huskies is how people react to their age. Just recently, I was walking through the park with them, and a woman and her daughter came up to us, completely enamored. They were asking all the usual questions – 'Are they friendly?' (Of course!) 'What are their names?' ('Archer and Leia!') – but the best part was when the little girl asked, 'How old are they?' I told her, 'Well, Archer's six and Leia's seven,' and she just whispered, almost in awe, 'Six... seven.' There’s something about a big, fluffy Siberian Husky that just screams 'puppy' no matter their actual age, and I adore that about them. Leia, my 'Miss Grumbles,' is turning eight, but she still has that incredible, boundless energy. She might be a bit 'fearsome' in her vocalizations sometimes – nothing quite like a Husky talking back to you! – but it’s all part of her charming personality. She’s incredibly smart and has a knack for getting exactly what she wants with those expressive eyes. Archer, my handsome boy, is the 'sweetest boy' you’ll ever meet, a true Valentine's Day baby with a heart of gold. He’s always ready for cuddles and loves to lean into you for affection. Even at seven, his playful spirit is infectious, and he still bounces around like a much younger dog. Having older dogs like Leia and Archer is such a unique experience. They might not be tiny puppies anymore, but their personalities have deepened, and our bond has grown even stronger. They’ve settled into their routines, yet they still surprise me with their antics. They still think they're 'just a baby!' when they hog the couch or demand belly rubs. The grey hairs around their muzzles only add to their wisdom and charm. It truly doesn’t make any sense that Leia is going to be 8 years old; in my heart, she'll always be my perfect little girl, and Archer will always be my sweet companion. I cherish every moment with them, and I’m so grateful for their loving presence. They truly are the best 'siberianderpskies' anyone could ask for.

happy early birthday puppies! (they wont be 6 and 7 anymore 😭)
