All time fav HIGH PROTEIN grain bowls in CBD ✨

🥬 The salad shop @ UOB plaza

The Salad Shop

( Raffles Place MRT Exit G)

I usually order the small human size consisting of any 3 feeds (cold or warm) + ½ protein for $11.50z It’s half protein but the portion is huge!!! It’s definitely more than enough! My go to order would be broccoli rice + beetroot humus(THE BEST!!!) + curry cauliflower/egg plant + chicken breast/lemon garlic chicken! Garnish I would go for spring onions & pesto sauce on the side!

🥬 Six hands ( Telok Ayer/Millenia walk)

Six Hands Flagship

Six Hands Millenia Walk

There 2 outlets you can get six hands from! One is at Telok ayer(2nd outlet, flagship store! ) and the outlet at Millennia walk!

My fav would be the chili changa salmon bowl! You can also customise your bowl now with lesser/no dressing sauce! Not very cheap at $16 but it was quite a satisfying one cos of the different texture/crunch you can ask for in a salad bowl 🤭

🥬 Super Simple ( multiple outlets near CBD)

Super Simple IOI Central Boulevard Towers

I go to the one at IOI building cos it’s near my office. Best of all is that if you use deliveroo APP, usually there is a 15-20% discount! they also serves huge portion of proteins! I love their beef flank/chicken thigh/chicken breast! Bowls are about $15 but with delivery discount it can be around $11.90-12 depending on your choice of protein!

🥬 Grain & Co (multiple outlets around CBD)

Grains & Co. @ One Raffles Place

Grains & Co. @ CIMB Plaza

Grains & Co. @ IOI Central Boulevard Towers

Grains & Co. @ Marina One

My fav amongst all the salad bowl shop because they have this GAIN BOWL that comes with 2 proteins! very huge portion of protein at $12.90 and if you are a member, usually you get 5% off!

If you are going for high protein, quantity> quality then this would be a great place!! My usual order would be rose Mary chicken & either basil chicken or teriyaki chicken! They also do yummy Korean tofu & white fish ✨ Raffles Place outlet is the best in terms of the quality IMO. I usually go to the Raffles Place outlet.

... Read moreIf you're on the lookout for convenient high-protein meals in the CBD area, these grain bowls offer a great balance of nutrition and taste. Beyond just protein, I find that variety in textures and fresh ingredients make a big difference in keeping meals enjoyable and satisfying. At The Salad Shop near Raffles Place MRT Exit G, their small human size bowl is always filling and affordable, with tasty options like broccoli rice paired with beetroot hummus—definitely a standout flavor. Customizing your garnishes with spring onions and pesto sauce made my bowls feel personalized. For those who enjoy a slightly more premium experience, Six Hands offers bowls like the chili changa salmon that stand out not only for protein content but also for the crunchy textures they include. It's a bit pricier but worth it if you prefer a chef-curated salad experience. A practical tip I found useful is checking delivery apps like Deliveroo for Super Simple's bowls near IOI Central Boulevard Towers. They often offer up to 20% off, making healthy eating more budget-friendly. Their variety of proteins, like beef flank and chicken thigh, keep things interesting. Grains & Co. is my go-to if quantity is your priority—they have a Gain Bowl loaded with two proteins, which is quite rare at that price point. Their multiple outlets make it accessible, and being a member gets you further discounts. In my experience, these spots not only focus on high protein but also offer fresh, vibrant ingredients that cater well to those wanting a healthy lunch or dinner option near work. Incorporating such meals regularly can support fitness goals or weight management, especially if paired with light dressings and side sauces to control calorie intake. Exploring these options helped me appreciate how balancing quality and quantity in healthy bowls can be both delicious and practical for busy lifestyles.
