My go-to salad/healthy bowls

🥗 Poke theory

- My personal favourite, I’ve eaten here at least once a week for the past 2 years

- Kent ridge Mrt outlet has 10% off for nus students & nuh staff, my order typically comes to $10.71 for a light bowl!

🥗 Habit

- I always go for the bagel seasoned salmon & sticky miso dressing, it’s so good!

- Quite pricey (mine was $13 for a petite)

- They only have 2 outlets (HV and Tanjong Pagar) so I only get it if I’m in the area

🥗 Hatsumi Donburi

- Not really a salad place but their soba bowls have lots of veg, edamame, carrots etc😋 ($12.90)

- They have free flow genmaicha tea during certain hours too!

🥗 Super Simple

- I really like their ingredients here, nothing tastes “dry” or boring

- My order is usually around $9-11

- I used to get this a lot when I worked in Telok Ayer/CBD area, I wished they had more outlets

🥗 Grains & Co.

- $10.90 for a mini bowl, portion of lettuce was a littlee small but overall still yummy!

🥗 Simply Wrapps

- Pretty expensive ($14) because the smoked salmon was a top up, but the portion is really big and you get to choose from a hugeee variety of toppings!

... Read moreIf you’re looking to enjoy healthy meals without breaking the bank, especially around the Kent Ridge area, there are quite a few hidden gems worth exploring. For example, Poke Theory offers convenient student and staff discounts if you’re from NUS or NUH, making it easy to enjoy fresh poke bowls regularly without overspending. Their shoyu salmon bowl is a crowd favorite because it balances flavor and lightness perfectly. Habit, despite being a bit pricier, stands out with its bagel seasoned salmon and sticky miso dressing combo. If you’re near HarbourFront or Tanjong Pagar, it's definitely worth trying. Don’t miss Hatsumi Donburi if you enjoy soba noodles packed with veggies and appreciate perks like free-flow genmaicha tea during certain hours; it’s a refreshing complement to a healthy meal. Super Simple offers a range of ingredients that never feel dry or boring. Although it has fewer outlets, their bowls are well priced and perfect for CBD workers looking for quick yet satisfying lunch options. Grains & Co.’s mini bowls provide a tasty alternative, especially if you want to try different grains and proteins. If portion size is a concern, opting for their regular-sized bowls might be better. Simply Wrapps is ideal for those who want a big portion and a huge variety of toppings, though it’s on the pricier side due to premium ingredients like smoked salmon. It can be a perfect treat when you’re craving a customizable, protein-packed bowl. Overall, balancing affordability, taste, and location convenience is key when choosing your healthy bowls in Singapore. Combining recommendations based on proximity—whether you’re near Kent Ridge, CBD, or other hubs—with personal favorites ensures you enjoy a variety of delicious and nutritious meals that suit your lifestyle and budget.
