My skin journey has been... a ride.

Over the last 10 years, it’s had some major ups and downs, and if I’m being real—there were times it totally wrecked my confidence. But as I inch toward my 30th birthday, I can honestly say I feel the best in my skin that I ever have.

Is every day a glowing, flawless, main character skin day? LOL absolutely not. But I’ve finally found a routine that works for my life, my budget, and my sanity. And maybe more importantly, I’ve started building the kind of self-confidence that lets me show up bare-faced OR with a little concealer, mascara, and lip gloss—whatever makes me feel good that day.

Writing this post felt borderline therapeutic—like cracking open a journal and realizing just how toxic some of my self-talk used to be. I wish I could hug past me and tell her:

👉 Acne is not your fault.

👉 It doesn’t make you ugly.

👉 And it definitely doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.

I’ve tried everything—creams, prescriptions, lifestyle changes, and seen more skin professionals than I can count. Was it the “right” path? I honestly don’t know. But it got me here. And here feels really, really good. 💛
