It’s humbling to recognize that our capabilities, intelligence, and resourcefulness, while valuable, are not substitutes for relying on Him. Hitting walls we cannot climb forces us to admit our limitations and truly depend on God's strength. This surrender is not about superficial dependence but deep humility—acknowledging that without God’s grace, our efforts fall short. That realization shifts our focus from striving to resting in His plan, where real change happens. God’s commitment to our sanctification means He sometimes lets us pass through uncomfortable, complicated, and seemingly impossible situations, not to punish but to grow us. Comfort rarely leads to lasting change, but grace encountered in desperation reshapes hearts and lives. Personally, embracing this mindset has helped me trust His timing better and find peace amid uncertainty. Each delay is an invitation to learn humility, renew faith, and ultimately experience the glory that only faithfulness in waiting can reveal.
