Come Before Him With Expectancy

When we come to the Word of God, we have to have a heart filled with expectation.

Because if we don’t expect to hear Him, we won’t, we’ll dismiss His voice.

We’ll call it coincidence. We’ll assume it was just our own thoughts. We’ll attribute it to anything and everything—except the truth: God, speaking by His Spirit, through His living Word, straight into our lives. We are His sheep. And Jesus said His sheep know His voice. So we posture ourselves in faith, and we listen—Because He will speak.
