God Sees The Struggle
When you choose Him over the pull of sin, it’s not small. He sees the struggle. He knows what it costs. And He delights in your yes. That choice is worship. That’s love.
Standing firm in the face of temptation is incredibly challenging, and I’ve personally experienced that inner battle more times than I can count. What’s been comforting to me is realizing that God truly sees everything—the exact moments when I’m tempted and the effort it takes to say no. He knows the cost of that choice and delights when I turn to Him instead. Often, sin presents itself as something harmless or even satisfying, but from my experience, it always leaves a lingering emptiness. God understands this struggle intimately. When you choose Him over desires like revenge, lust, or self-gratification, it’s not a small victory—it’s a powerful declaration that God matters more than any fleeting urge. Reflecting on scripture, especially verses like Matthew 11:28, reminds me that God offers rest amidst the battle. I’ve found peace in trusting that God hears the silent cries during moments of defeat and knows the weight carried in those fights. He’s not distant but actively involved, lighting up like a proud father when we honor Him in difficult moments.
