Don’t Be Fooled!
Not every blessing is from God. True blessing changes your heart, not just your life. Peace, gratitude, and a desire to give—these are the marks of His favor.

In my personal journey of faith, I've come to realize that not all blessings are meant to uplift our spirit in the way God intends. True blessings don't merely improve our external circumstances—they fundamentally change our hearts. For example, I've noticed that when I focus solely on material gains or success, it often leaves me feeling hollow and anxious. But when I practice gratitude and seek peace within, I experience a deep sense of fulfillment that no fortune can provide. Developing discernment is crucial in this process. This means taking time to reflect on whether a blessing encourages us to grow in faith, inspires generosity, and brings lasting peace—not just temporary pleasure. I found that journaling my experiences and praying for wisdom helped me differentiate between blessings that feed my ego and those that draw me closer to God. Moreover, adopting a kingdom perspective shifts the focus from worldly achievements to spiritual growth. When walking with God, blessings become a means to serve others and spread kindness. It's a transformation of priorities—from amassing wealth to sharing resources and love. Ultimately, true blessings nurture a heart that celebrates giving as much as receiving. This faith-over-fortune mindset has guided me through difficult choices, reminding me that God’s favor is reflected in peace, gratitude, and love, rather than in mere abundance.
