Clean with me as a Sahm of 3
As a stay-at-home mom of three, I’ve learned that keeping up with cleaning while managing kids can be a real challenge, but it’s not impossible. One of my favorite tips is to break down cleaning tasks into small, manageable chunks throughout the day instead of trying to do everything at once. For example, I dedicate a few minutes after breakfast to mop the floors and then pick up toys while the kids are busy with activities. Mopping is especially important because it helps maintain a clean and safe environment, especially with three little ones running around. I use a quick-dry mop and non-toxic cleaning products to ensure the house stays fresh without harmful fumes. Another mom hack that works wonders for me is involving the kids in simple chores. Even toddlers can help by putting away toys or wiping surfaces. This not only lessens my workload but also teaches them responsibility early on. I also rely on motivational strategies like playing upbeat music or setting timers for 10–15 minute cleaning sprints. This keeps me energized and makes chores feel less overwhelming. Being a SAHM means my day is full of unpredictable moments, but having a flexible cleaning routine that adapts to my family’s needs has been a game-changer. Sharing these experiences with other moms motivates me, and I hope these tips can inspire you too on your busy mom journey.

1. Leaving the toilet seat up is a huge annoyance for me. Everyone needs to lower the seat when they are done, regardless of gender.""It is a major pet peeve of mine when the toilet seat isn't put back down. Put it down, period." 2. have always enforced a strict no-shoes policy in my home, a habit that started when I got my first apartment. If guests dislike this rule, they are welcome to stay home. 3. I cannot stand sitting on the couch in outdoor clothes or after an Uber ride. I always put a cover on the couch first. People get upset and claim they are clean. Still, they sat in cars and public places all day. I do not want outside dirt or hidden pests brought onto my furniture.
