... Read moreIf you're looking for a brownie recipe that satisfies your sweet tooth while supporting your fitness goals, this low-calorie, high-protein fudgy brownie is a game changer. What I love about this recipe is the use of soda water, which helps create that moist and fudgy texture without adding calories or fat. The carbonation adds lightness to the batter, making the brownies soft yet rich. I usually top mine with Greek yogurt and fresh blueberries, providing extra protein and antioxidants to further boost the snack's nutritional value. You can also customize this recipe by swapping the protein powder to your favorite flavor or brand, such as chocolate or vanilla whey, depending on your dietary preferences. For a gluten-free option, ensure the oat flour is certified gluten-free or use almond flour as a substitute, though this may affect the texture slightly. When baking, monitor the brownies closely towards the end of the 20-minute baking time to avoid overbaking; you want them fudgy, not dry. Based on the macros provided, each serving delivers a balanced nutritional profile with 274 calories, 35g protein, and only 4g fat—perfect for a post-workout treat or a healthy dessert. Remember, portion control still matters even with low-calorie brownies. Pairing them with nutrient-dense toppings or alongside a balanced meal can help keep your diet on track. This recipe is easy to prepare and uses simple pantry ingredients, making it accessible for busy individuals who want a convenient, healthier indulgence.
