I’m Off To Better Things šŸŽ“

Graduating college was something I will remember for the rest of my life. Being a first generation is such a powerful and emotional feeling. I was someone who always knew I wanted to go to college, but couldn’t actually picture myself there. I went to Moravian University in Bethlehem. When it came time to graduate, it felt like a dream! Now that I am 4 years post grad, I realize I took advantage of my time there and I would do anything to relive those memories again for a first time. I miss not having so many responsibilities and bills if I’m being completely transparent. Also, the Monday-Friday working schedule is soooo draining. If you’re still in college, enjoy it! If anyone has tips for post grad and how to enjoy life to the fullest? Please let me know! Some days I feel like I have nothing to look forward to but the weekend, and when that comes, I spend it at home relaxing. The hardest, most rewarding 4 years of my life.

... Read moreGraduation marks a crucial transition in life, especially for first-generation college students who often face unique pressures and hurdles. During this exciting but challenging phase, alumni may grapple with feelings of nostalgia as they reflect on their college experiences. As you step out into the workforce, finding balance becomes essential. Incorporating self-care rituals and maintaining connections with college friends can help ease this transition. Utilizing professional networking platforms like LinkedIn and attending career fairs can open doors to new opportunities. Embrace this new chapter with a proactive outlook. If you're finding the post-college landscape to be isolating, consider engaging in local community events or alumni associations. Keeping a journal to document your journey, achievements, and aims can also provide motivation and clarity. Always remember, everyone’s path is different. You are not alone in your journey, and there are numerous resources and communities ready to support you along the way.
