From my personal experience, one of the biggest hurdles is finding a unique sound that truly represents your artistic identity. While experimenting, I tried using calming and warm audio elements that evoke a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, much like the comforting feeling I get from favorite artists such as Billy Gillman. However, the path isn’t always smooth. I’ve often felt the pressure of copyright issues looming over my work, which can be discouraging when you want to share your creations freely. To avoid this, I made a conscious decision to focus on crafting compositions from scratch and to ensure that my work is distinctive enough to stand alone. Emotionally, this process has its ups and downs. There are days when the cold weather outside mirrors a sense of lethargy or low mood, affecting creativity and motivation. During such times, I find it helpful to remind myself that these feelings are temporary and that creativity can flourish after moments of rest and reflection. Moreover, testing new sounds repeatedly, 'testing testing' as I often say, is a vital part of refining my musical style. It’s a continuous process of trial and error, but each attempt brings me closer to the sound I want to share with the world. For anyone looking to make their own sound, embracing patience and perseverance is key. The challenges of mood fluctuations, technical limitations, and copyright concerns are real, but they can be navigated successfully with passion and dedication. Remember, the journey itself is as meaningful as the final creation.
