Come With Me While I Make a Blueberry Crumble Candle 🫐🕯️

I started making dessert candles and honestly I love how creative the process is. 🕯️@MixedByNature

This one is called “Sweet Blessings” referencing psalms 119:103 “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” It’s a blueberry crumble inspired candle I made by hand using soy wax and fragrance oils. The goal is to create candles that feel warm, cozy, and inspired by faith.

Watching it come together is my favorite part.

Making dessert-themed candles like the blueberry crumble one has been an incredibly rewarding creative outlet for me. I find the process deeply meditative—from melting the soy wax to adding just the right amount of fragrance and observing the candle solidify in the mold. This hands-on crafting feels therapeutic and empowers me to create a product that is both functional and meaningful. An important reminder whenever working with dessert-inspired candles is that these creations are not edible—they are designed to smell delightful and create ambiance, not for consumption. Handling soy wax and fragrance oils safely and responsibly helps ensure a quality finished product.
