You may be reading this and wondering "what's new trend now? what's it going to tell me I have to do?"

And listen, I totally get it. Half of the time, my brain or my thoughts sound the same whenever I'm in social media, whether that is Instagram or TikTok. Somehow, my brain has gotten so used to being okay self criticism and thinking about all the things that I need to fix of myself. To fit into society or to be loved by society. That I feel like I've lost sight of myself; my quirks, hobbies, talents, or perspectives.

I am twenty seven years old, and I have been able to achieve wonderful milestones... but lately I have been feeling empty, sad and overwhelmed.

Totally overwhelmed with the thought and the questioning of who am I? And what authentically makes me happy?

I have a master's degree and I am a psychotherapist. i have always been empathetic, which is why I have the career that I have. however, i've noticed that I struggle with people pleasing to a degree where I find myself at twenty seven years old, not knowing what my hobbies are or what makes me happy.And that is so sad.
