I got rid of black hair dye w/o bleaching!!

... Read moreRemoving black hair dye without bleach can be a game-changer for those looking to transition back to their natural color. One of the key products I used was a color fix solution specifically designed to handle permanent dye. It's crucial to ensure that you gather the right supplies: a color fix product, a plastic bowl, hairbrush, gloves, and a developer solution that suits your hair type. Before starting, I made sure to assess my hair's condition, as the health of your hair influences the results. It’s advisable to perform a test application to minimize damage and understand how your hair reacts to the product. After applying the solution, I covered my hair with a plastic bag to activate the product, ensuring it penetrated effectively. The odor from some dye removal products can be strong, so proper ventilation and thorough washing afterward are important. Using a good moisturizing hair mask post-treatment can help replenish lost moisture, ensuring your hair remains healthy and vibrant. After the second application, I was amazed at how well the color difference was eliminated, and my hair was back to its natural shade. If you have uneven pigmentation post-dye removal, opt for hair dyes with a double 'N' in the name as they provide better coverage. Remember, patience is key throughout this process, ensuring you allow the products to sit for the recommended times to achieve optimal results.

I’m going through the same exact thing with my hair! I dyed it black 2 winters ago (2024) and then again in the summer (2025) (just my roots) and it’s taking forever to grow out 😭 i hate the two tone bc loke you said you can see the line in my hair where it’s grown out and it looks terrible 🫠 Luckily, I’m already a cool tone naturally so when I go to the hairstylist to get it fixed it won’t take much ! 🥹 you’re hair looks beautiful btw so gorgeous 💗😚😚
