Life and Business Update: Learning to Believe Before the Numbers

I wanted to rewrite the headline that's a little less delulu, but then I recalled Tony Robbins sharing on the 3 S's: State, Story and Strategy.

So let's keep the headline and go on, it's the whole point of what I want to share today.

Lately I've been busy. Connecting with loved ones, colleagues and clients, and business owners.

Not to mention kids too. (So if I take awhile to get back to a casual WhatsApp message, you know it's nothing personal! 😂)

Activity has been going up, and I'm thoroughly enjoying every moment. Fingers crossed the bank accounts will follow suit!

There's this feeling of being completely absorbed in what I'm doing. Time passes quickly.

I feel happy. Fulfilled.

Is this what I'm meant to be doing?

And yet there's something else sitting quietly underneath it.

A little fear.

Things are moving, but what if...?

I'm happy, but what if...?

... all this activity, all this momentum, still leads nowhere?

Believing feels like the slight plunge of the heart before making a jump. And choosing to keep going anyway.

Maybe courage is going against years of conditioning. Bravely towards a better life while still questioning whether I am allowed to have it.

What if it doesn't work out again?

What if I'm still not enough, and still needed saving (though that's the lie I was fed.)

I'm consciously choosing my answers now.

I can build something meaningful, earn well and provide a good life for myself, and most of all, my two kids.

I'm worthy. I can stand on my own two feet, and thrive.

What's a State (referencing back to Tony Robbins' 3 S's) you are working on now? 😊

... Read moreIn my personal experience navigating both life and business, I find that believing in the process before seeing tangible results is one of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects. Often, the numbers and outcomes we crave can take time to manifest, and it’s easy to fall into doubt or fear when the immediate returns look uncertain. I resonate deeply with the sensation described here—a blend of fulfillment in work and a quiet undercurrent of apprehension about what the future holds. An important practice that helped me was developing an acute awareness of my 'State'—the mindset and emotional condition I bring into my daily activities. Inspired by Tony Robbins' concept of the 3 S's, this attention to inner state helps anchor me during moments of uncertainty. Instead of letting fear dictate decisions, I remind myself that progress is often nonlinear. Momentum builds quietly behind the scenes, and persistence eventually aligns with opportunity. I also discovered the power in reshaping the 'Story' I told myself about success and worthiness. For too long, I carried limiting beliefs about whether I was deserving of prosperity and happiness. Challenging these internal narratives—with affirmations and evidence of small wins—was crucial. Choosing to believe I am worthy and capable gave me the courage to pursue goals despite doubts. Lastly, strategy plays a critical role. Setting clear actions and goals creates a roadmap that moves beyond wishful thinking. It’s about balancing hopeful belief with practical steps, ongoing learning, and adaptability. This balance prevents stagnation and fuels continual growth. If you find yourself experiencing the tension between excitement and fear, remember that you’re not alone. It takes bravery to embrace the unknown and keep moving forward. Celebrate your journey, no matter how small the victories, and trust that with intentional focus on your State, Story, and Strategy, your efforts are laying the foundation for meaningful, lasting success.
