Just a busy mom trying to be consistent! 🥲
Today is day 4 of my walking ! Moving ! Being active !
I am currently walking rn as I type this .
It is soooooo annoying that I can show up for EVERYONE but myself. So I told myself that must change.
3 days may not seem much but trust me .. it’s a ton.
I have also incorporated counting my macros and wow .. has that been a game changer. Who would’ve thought the serving size for salad dressing wasn’t POUR WITH YOUR HEART… not I ? 🤪🤪
Thanks for listening
Consistency is key when it comes to health and fitness, especially for busy moms balancing many responsibilities. Walking daily, even for just a few days, can significantly improve cardiovascular health, boost mood, and increase energy levels. Incorporating macro counting—tracking proteins, fats, and carbohydrates—can also be a game changer for weight management and mindful eating. Many people underestimate serving sizes; as highlighted in the article, salad dressing portions often exceed recommended amounts, impacting caloric intake without realizing it. Setting small, achievable goals is essential for sustaining motivation. Even though three or four days of walking might seem minimal, they build momentum toward a healthier lifestyle. Accountability, whether through social media challenges like #lemon8challenge or community support groups, can help maintain consistency. For busy moms, planning time for movement and nutrition amidst daily tasks fosters both physical and mental well-being. The OCR reference to a calendar reminder (e.g., "8:03 Cancel July 2025 M w T T 30 Jul 1 5 3 8 11 12 13 10 18 19 14 15 16 17 20") suggests the importance of scheduling and tracking progress. Using apps, calendars, or fitness trackers can reinforce daily habits and provide visual motivation. By prioritizing self-care and learning to show up for oneself, even amidst hectic schedules, sustainable health improvements are attainable. In summary, walking combined with macro tracking offers a balanced, manageable approach to health for busy individuals. Recognizing that small steps contribute to long-term gains encourages ongoing commitment and self-compassion. Embracing challenges and sharing journeys publicly can inspire others facing similar struggles.
