Learning procreate one step at a time
After giving up art and drawing nearly two decades ago I’m trying to dip my toes back into the drawing pool. Slowly I am learning to embrace more artistic outlets and just allowing my mind so create.
Which reminds me, for a while I’ve been thinking about creating short form content centered around learning a new skill. It would basically be “aesthetic struggling”, which is the best way I can describe it. But essentially I want to document me struggling to learn procreate, blender/spline, JavaScript etc.
Would that be something you’d watch? Let’s talk about it below. #procreatedrawing #findingmyartstyle #Lemon8Diary #Apple #art #blender #vlog
Procreate has become a favorite among digital artists for its user-friendly interface and extensive features. As you begin your journey, it helps to start with the basics, such as familiarizing yourself with the interface and tools. Tutorials available online can guide you through the essential functions like layers, brushes, and color palettes. Experimentation is key; don't hesitate to try out new techniques or styles as you create. Building a routine for daily practice can transform your skills over time. Consider creating short content that documents your progress and struggles, which not only helps you track improvement but also connects you with a community of fellow learners who can share their insights. Joining forums and engaging with social media hashtags (such as #ProcreateDrawing and #Art) will expose you to a range of styles and techniques, enriching your understanding of digital art. Remember, every artist starts somewhere, and embracing the learning process is a vital part of your creative journey.
