Over the next few days, I’m going to show you the 3 top packing methods that have allowed me to pack a carry on (for a week travel) over the past 5 years!
Today, I’m showing you the Lay-Flat Method. This allows you to take advantage of the corners of the luggage. When you only have 40 L, you need to use every space to the fullest. This method takes advantage of that.
It’s also great if you have some clothes that you need to be wrinkle free! The long layers at the very bottom actually wrapped around the smaller clothes in the middle allowing them to be wrinkle free!
Because you’re not folding clothes, you eliminating a lot of the bulk you get from multiple folds!
once I was completed packing, there was still quite a lot of room for Hair tools, a pair of shoes (other than the ones I was wearing), and a light jacket. This is what I’ll be taking on this next trip to Europe for the summer.

Also, keep a light jacket and versatile shoes to cover different weather conditions without overpacking.
